PROJECT PHASES
1 : COLLABORATION
We establish a clear and transparent collaboration with you. During this phase, we’ll develop the project scope, define timelines, sign contracts, and determine the best-fitting design for your needs.
2 : SPACE + FLOW
Your peace of mind is a priority, and we lay the groundwork for a smooth project journey. This includes installing dust walls and floor tarps, adjusting vents to minimize dust travel, and establishing the least disruptive flow for deliveries, our team, and the homeowners.
3 : Demo + Debris
Creating a clean slate for our project together, this phase is where we remove plumbing and electrical fixtures, demo walls and ceilings to studs, and remove any support framing areas to be altered. Next, we clear the way by removing all demo debris into a designated storage area.
4 : Framing + Construction
The backbone of most projects, this phase involves proper planning and building of foundational elements. OMC will plan the site design flow, pick up or schedule delivery of materials, frame out the project using design specifications, and define bearing wall areas to remove / structurally frame.
5 : Plumbing + Electrical
This phase is all about under-the-hood work focused mainly on the layout of electrical and plumbing routes, roughing in all plumbing and electrical needed, and connection of electricity to a power box and plumbing to a main line.
6 : Finishing Touches
Most projects include insulation and drywall finishing, priming and painting of walls and ceilings, installation, painting and staining of base, window and door trims, tile installation, and all other aesthetics installed and completed.
7 : Turnkey Cleanup
This phase returns the new space to a polished, finished setting ready for design and living. Beginning with the removal of all debris from the job site and transporting it to the off-site dumpsite, we then clean and finish the project which brings it to a turnkey condition.
8 : Follow-up
Even though your renovation and construction project is completed, we continue to care very much about your satisfaction. You matter to us! We always reach out for feedback, concerns, positive words, and are ready to help with any future projects or ideas you may have.
